Energy retrofit of a house or apartment
An energy retrofit means renovating a house or apartment so that it uses much less energy: we insulate the façade and roof, replace the windows and doors, replace the old boiler with a heat pump and install heat-recovery ventilation. We plan the measures together because they complement each other – new windows without façade insulation, or a heat pump on an uninsulated house, do not deliver the real effect.
For measures co-financed by Eko sklad we prepare all the required documentation: a quote in line with the call, technical data of materials and equipment, contractor declarations and invoices for payment of the subsidy or approval of the loan. You submit the application with our help, and we make sure the work meets the conditions of the call.

Insulation system with EPS or mineral wool and render finish.

Insulation between and below the rafters or on the ceiling towards an unheated loft.

Triple-glazed windows, entrance doors, installation to RAL.

Replacement of the boiler with an air-to-water heat pump, adaptation of the heating system.

Fresh air without heat loss, central or local.

Eko sklad subsidy and loan
Eko sklad co-finances façade and roof insulation, window replacement, heat pumps and ventilation. We prepare all the documentation for the application – a quote in line with the call, technical data and declarations – carry out the work in line with their requirements and advise you on choosing the measures; for project documentation we work with subcontractors. Approval of the subsidy or loan is decided by Eko sklad.
Frequently asked questions
Which measures does Eko sklad co-finance?
Usually façade and roof insulation, window replacement, heat pumps, heat-recovery ventilation and comprehensive renovations. Conditions and amounts change with each call – we check the current ones when preparing the quote.
What do you prepare and what do I have to arrange myself?
We prepare the quote in line with the call, technical data of materials and equipment, contractor declarations and invoices. You submit the application in your own name; we help you fill it in.
Is it better to start with the windows, the façade or the heat pump?
As a rule the building envelope first (façade, roof, windows), then the heating – lower heat losses mean a smaller and cheaper heat pump. We set the order at the site visit.
Can the energy retrofit be done together with the interior renovation?
Yes, that is the most rational: scaffolding, installations and finishing work are coordinated in one schedule with one site manager.
